Eligibility 

A core focus of the applicant will be the provision of advisory services as an individual or consultant who works as part of an organisation or independently – for customers in the cryptocurrency or blockchain sectors. Examples could include accountancy, legal, strategy, marketing, risk advisory, tax, insurance, IP, audit / assurance or financial.

    This award recognises the individual who has made the most significant contribution to the growth and  development of the overall blockchain community in Australia.

    Eligibility 
    • This is an individual award. 
    • Individual entrants must be Australian citizens or residents. 
    • Applicants must have made a significant contribution to the growth of the blockchain community, education & development or collaboration among blockchain  community members.

      Gender & Diversity Leader of the Year

      This award recognises the exceptional contribution towards improving diversity and inclusion within the blockchain industry for those from diverse backgrounds and/or actively campaigned for a more inclusionary blockchain industry, in a way that has had a positive and long-term impact. 

      Successful nominees will have demonstrated, through their actions, leadership and/or innovation in supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. Activities could include: 

      • Advancing diversity awareness and understanding within the blockchain industry
      • Promoting policies, programs and practices that strengthen a culture of inclusivity

        • Applicants may be anyone who has made a significant contribution to improving diversity and inclusion within the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry.

        Education Leader of the Year

        This award recognises the important work of educators who are dedicated to the improvement of blockchain awareness and knowledge. The Educator Of The Year Award will go to an individual who offered their time, expertise and networks in support of blockchain educational initiatives.

        • Applicants must have made a significant contribution to improving the delivery of blockchain and cryptocurrency education.

          – Presenting at professional conferences, seminars and/or workshops or

          Blockchain Leader of the Year

          This award recognises a leader from the blockchain industry who is a pioneer, visionary, strategic thinker and role model.  The Blockchain Leader of the Year Award recipient will also be recognised as an influencer in the industry and have demonstrated their engagement with the community (keynote speaking, advocacy, & media interviews) in helping to improve on and champion the use of blockchain technology.

            This Award is open to businesses that can demonstrate an initiative, campaign or project that has resulted in community or social benefit using blockchain technology.  

            This award showcases social enterprise projects that are applying commercial strategies to maximize improvements in human and environmental wellbeing, rather than maximising profits for external shareholders.

            Eligibility
            • This is a business award.
            • Applicants must hold an ABN or be otherwise domiciled in Australia. 
            • The business has a clear social or environmental mission.
            • The project must make significant use of blockchain technology in delivering its products or services.
            • Must be not for profits or predominantly social enterprise.

            • Not primarily domiciled in Australia but retaining a local human resource presence
            • The organisation must make significant use of blockchain technology in delivering its products or services.

              • Your business entity must be majority Australian owned and operated.
